Cookies as big as your face. That is all. We discovered this little gem while wondering late at night down Duval St (completely sober, mind you) and saw the giant cookies through the window. Already hungry for a late night snack, this place was bound to satisfy. And my goodness it did! I cannot vouch for the other food items, but the chocolate chip cookies are wonderful, gooey, warm bits of heaven. I would not advise eating a whole one by yourself since they are so big and so sweet, but you do you and I'll do me. Other items on the menu include ice cream, a Cookie Monster (a giant cookie with 3 scoops of ice cream on top), key lime pie, very smooth and creamy fudge (make sure you get a sample), a few coffee selections, and more sugary sweet things. If you're looking for a sweet tooth satisfaction, this is the place to go. The establishment itself was very clean, in fact the second night (yes we went back for another cookie the next night) we tracked in our dirty shoes over a freshly mopped floor. The young lady running the counter was very friendly and had patience with us and our dirty shoes. We loved the cookies so much, we may even be back for a third!

The best ice cream ever! Every time I come to Key West, I always make sure I head over there. My absolute favorite thing is the frozen lemonade. So delicious! I always make everyone try them.

You just need to go here. If you like cookies you are going to walk out with something. The cookies are huge. I would say it serves 2-4 people. Seriously delicious. I also like the ice cream and fudge. It is difficult not to want to buy a lot more goodies.

First, let me start out by saying that my review is low only because of what the cashier said. The cookies, fudge, ice cream and milkshake were fine (my family all wanted something different). I asked the cashier/baker if he had a military discount and this was his reply: "The owners brother is a retired Army Colonel or something. So he feels he's given enough to the military." I just stood there and didn't say a word. Maybe this won't affect most people, but I didn't want the military population to know.

So this review is based off of one cookie, but wow what a cookie! We walked in during our midnight stroll down Duval last night. Sadly for the worker, she had just mopped so our dirty shoes left tracks on the damp floor, but she was very polite and said not to worry she'll just re-mop... I felt bad, but came in anyway because the HUGE fresh baked cookies looked (and smelled) sooooo good! And it was, it really was. We got one giant chocolate chip cookie to share and took it back to our room. When we got back it was still somewhat warm and the chocolate chips still melty. It was baked just right, with a tad bit of gooey center and no burning anywhere. It was easily one of the best purchased chocolate chip cookies we've ever had. They also had prepacked key lime pie and other kinds of cookies, as well as ice cream. Like I said, the lady at the counter was very nice and welcoming. Needless to say, we'll be back before heading up to the mainland.

I loved this place! The guys working here were so friendly and seemed to love what they do. The ice cream is delicious, and they make a really good milkshake too! I sampled the fudge, and wish I would have bought some because it was so creamy and good! I think their key lime pie was my favourite pie on the island!

The fresh giant chocolate chip cookies were delish! Soft gooey chocolate chips that melt in your mouth. The cookie is huge, but it does not lack in taste! The smell hits you right in the face as you walk in the store. One cookie is more than enough for one person to eat, but it's so darn good I had to get 2! I was hurting afterwards, but it was a good pain! A pain I'm more than happy to feel again when I return to Mattheesssens

This is delicious ice cream and the quantity is unbelievable. I ordered two scoops it was the equivalent of four scoops The staff is extremely nice and friendly and Larry is the man!

Came out to Key West from the far land of Ft Lauderdale for my friends 29th birthday (that may or may not be an accurate age.) The entire night we were walking around looking for bars to make pit stops in we kept seeing these gigantic cookies, but being such night owls everything was already closed. Of course, before heading home we had to stop in to pick up a treat. I originally wanted macadamia nut, but then noticed the sweet mix of macadamia nut, pecans and choco chips. Paired an iced latte with it, died and came back to life. I will have this place cater at my wedding, forsure.

I love ice cream and always find a place to stop. They also have giant cookies and brownies as well. The brownie was dry and definitely not sweet enough. It also didn't taste...chocolatey, which I'm not sure how they managed that. Probably the worst brownie I have ever eaten. Two bites and threw it away. The ice cream was pretty good. Not amazing, but good. They have all the standard toppings, so you can get a good, decent ice cream sundae here. They do have limited seating (some cute little tables for kids). The cashier was less than helpful, not chatty, but got the order taken care of. So this place lacks character and charm because of that.

The delightful aroma wafts out of this door and down the block so you will start smelling the delicious cookies before you even read the store. The display shows the wide array of cookie flavors you can get.I was lucky enough to arrive while they were pulling cookies fresh out of the oven. There is nothing like a cookie that is still warm and gooey. The messier the better! I got a chocolate chip cookie that was covered in chocolate chips and they were all melty. My first piece off of the cookie covered my fingers in chocolate and soon after, my face was covered too. This was a yummy cookie. Honestly, despite being a sugar addict I could only eat half of this cookie in one sitting. That was a pleasant surprise though because it left me with a snack for later. It was still good later but not as melty. I definitely prefer them right out of the oven so they are warm. They also offer free fudge samplings and I wound up with some chocolate and pecan fudge to take with me too. That was also delicious and I like the crunch that the pecan provides in the otherwise silky smooth fudge. Overall, this is a great stop to satisfy that sweet tooth was perusing Duval for some tourist souvenirs.

I got the cookie monster, which is a 1/2lb cookie with 3 scoops of ice cream, whip cream, and chocolate syrup. Ermahgerd, it was delicious!

Cute place. Everything seems jumbo - huge signs, huge cookies, etc. Guys working here are very friendly. Ice cream is just ordinary though. Nothing special about it. Also, it seems overpriced. Two small ice cream cones for almost $10. But I guess that's expected on Duval street. I think tourists would like this place but I didn't care for it too much. It was just alright.

These cookies are giant. They will catch your attention. They caught our attention enough times walking up and down Duval over the weekend that we finally popped in on our last night. We ended up ordering the "Cookie Monster" which is a $15 giant cookie sundae. One GIANT cookie of your choice (we went classic chocolate chip) with 3 (generous) scoops of ice cream of your choice (we went Vanilla, Cookie 'n Cream, and Chocolate Caramel Swirl of some sorts), and topped to your liking (we went hot fudge and caramel, skipped the whipped and cherries). More than enough for 2 people (no matter how hungry and pregnant) to share! We had left some unfinished. It was so yummy with that hot fresh cookie mixed in with the cold ice cream! These folks know cookies!

Omg, these cookies were ridiculous. We stopped by because we saw them in the window. They were so tasty! They also give free samples of fudge, you just have to ask. You can't have cookies without milk, but they don't have it for sale in the drink coolers. Just ask and they will pour you a fresh glass! So tasty!

The cookie is the size of my face. That being said, I had to get one. I opted for the chocolate chip cookie since it's their most popular. Maybe I should have gone to their main location instead of this one off the beaten path. But hey, they should all be good, right? It was nothing special. The middle was actually raw. I understand humungous cookies are hard to bake but it's unpleasant for one's cookie to crumble the wrong way and to bite into crunchy raw cookie dough. Once in a while every few bites, I'll get a hint of why everyone raves about the cookies... I think there were hints of sea salt in it. But all-in-all, not much to rave about.

Just shared a huge peanut butter cookie with my hubby and it was delicious. Think i will go there in the evening again to try the Oatmeal one. Had a sample of the chocolate pecan fudge and it was great too. Staff is also very friendly.

We stumbled across this on a recent trip to key west as we were walking through duval street. This place has the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had..hands down. I would have probably given 6 stars if it were available :) We went back the next day and had more..yum! I wish I stayed closer to this place . It might cost more than the average cookie elsewhere but it's definitely worth all that money.

There are a few locations in Key West. The one's on Duval Street are easy to find. You can't miss them because of the smell of homemade cookies & fudge! Their cookies are ginormous & are outstanding! They also have great ice cream, candy, pie & coffee. Yum!

Good cookies but a like costly but well worth it. I am going to be stopping there again today to get me a few cookies to take home with me. The fudge is good also.
